About Us & Why We Do It?

We are Christopher & Sarah! We are the proud owners of Waxy Wonders we are about to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary in January!! I’m so excited. We have 3 amazing, wild, but amazing dogs. 1 turtle and now 1 fresh water little shark (thanks mom & dad). We have a cute little house & just a happy married couple.

We decided to do this business because I REALLY wanted some Bath & Body candles since they were having a really nice sale on their candles that weekend! Then I got to thinking while we were out on a date... of course my mind was somewhere else other than the date

“We can definitely make candles that are just as good as their candles for cheaper!!!”

So, we went home and researched for hours on how to make candles! I think we researched for like 7-8 hours in just one night on how to make them. I took notes, he found videos, we talked, and here we are. I used to love making candles with my mom, I didn’t realize it at the time of course because every little thing annoyed me back then. I was a preteen going through “don’t talk to me, I don’t really want to be bothered” lol. but looking back at it, I loved doing it. So of course, my amazing husband jumped right in & has supported me this far.

It has been a journey, but one I couldn’t have done without him. I love this little business we have going on, and I am so thankful for each and every single one of you!
